HOW TO PLAY

A family of four.

The 36-card deck has 6–10 in every suit, plus four unranked face cards per suit. All cards begin face up in nine piles of four.

  1. Build number cards downward by one, alternating red and black. Move any length of correctly ordered stack.
  2. Unranked face cards show only their suit. Stack them with face cards of the same suit; move these stacks together.
  3. Any card or valid stack can fill an empty pile. The free cell holds just one card, and is available from the start.
  4. A pile consisting of exactly four matching face cards immediately turns face down and locks, including when you add the fourth card or uncover the completed set. Nothing can be placed on a locked pile.
  5. Win with four separate alternating-color runs of 10–6 and four locked face-card sets. The free cell must be empty.

Undo can reverse your last move, including a collapse. Each game keeps its own saved progress. Hint searches for a complete win and may undo earlier moves to reach a position it can solve; it will tell you when it does.
